We offer two types of home staging services: occupied & unoccupied.
Occupied Homes: My main goal for staging occupied homes is to help clients identify key areas to highlight and showcase, while using their existing items and space. This may involve a recommendation to update a paint color, suggesting a new layout, swapping out a picture, or setting up a space more generically so it appeals to more buyers. The ideal timing for staging is around 2-4 weeks before listing, depending on the size and state of the home. Typically, this is done in a 1-3 hour visit, where we walk and talk through each space. A staging summary is given after the walkthrough and I am available for support as they are prepping the house.
Unoccupied Homes: These homes are often empty, which can sometimes be a turn-off for buyers. My goal for staging unoccupied homes is to strategically stage a few areas with furniture and decor, to provide a more welcoming space for potential buyers. This requires a rental agreement for the furniture and decor in most cases, on a month by month basis.
